1. CANCELATION POLICIES

Non-refundable Policy, reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE.

There are no refunds due to bad weather or hurricanes; including any inconvenience or complication caused by a hurricane’s direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike. As each property is privately owned, Akumal Direct will always seek out the best available terms with the property for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling on behalf of the client.

2. RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSIT

Akumal Direct Reservations accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  Payment can also be arranged by personal check or money order.  Upon clients, instruction to confirm their reservation payment must be processed within five days to maintain a legitimate reservation.

  1. Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require payment in full for final confirmation
  2. Reservations made more than 60 days before arrival will require payment of 50% of the total amount due, with the balance due 60 days before arrival.
  3. All HOLIDAY reservations require payment in full by July 1st or at the time of the booking to confirm. 

Once your payment is processed you will receive a confirmation voucher, driving, arrival, and check-in instructions via e-mail.

2. RESERVATION CHANGE FEE

Changes made within 48 hours of confirmation will be at no charge. Any other or subsequent changes made after 48 hours of confirmation will be subject to a Reservation Change Fee of $100.00 US. This fee is non-refundable.
