Excellent stay!!!
Reviewed on 2025-02-23 by Krista B. , Clinton, MA USHouse was wonderful and house keepers were even better! The location was great, quiet and private but only 15 minutes drive to Tulum center. The grounds are very well maintained and the beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, etc. The rooms are all very spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend having the house keepers (Noyes and Elizabeth) cook for you for dinner. They are incredible chefs and offer a variety of traditional Mexican dishes.
The outside space is lovely, just bring some bug spray with you. A few people in our group got some bug bites, but wasn’t that bad at all considering all the benefits of this house.
Overall, highly recommend!!! 10/10

Noe and Elizabeth were so amazing! They were super nice, made sure everything was clean and took pride in the care of the home.
There is lots of outdoor areas to enjoy and the beach is great! We have stayed in Soliman Bay and Akumal before and this house is now our favorite because of the house layout and also Noe and Elizabeth.
There are 2 close restaurants you can walk to that we enjoyed and also you can have meals prepared at the house.
The house is right between Tulum and Akumal so we were able to enjoy activities in both areas along with close grocery shopping at Chedraui (our favorite).
Family of 7 adults and 2 children ages 3 and 6 stayed for 9 nights. Everything was perfect. Perfect Family Gathering
Reviewed on 2025-01-19 by Angela P. , Santa Barbara, CA United StatesWe stayed at Casa Palmeras for a week and it exceeded every expectation. Seven beautiful sunrises from our own private beach. Caretakers Noé and Elisabet were exceptional. Elisabet cooked dinner for us four days, she is a gifted cook, every meal was spectacular. We wished we had booked the house for much longer. David Palencia was a great concierge, answered all our questions, made super suggestions and booked a fabulous cenote adventure for us. Best vacation ever.

This property was perfect for our group of 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The house is in a prime location in Soliman Bay. The beach has perfect sand, great sun exposure, and amazing snorkeling right out front. The house and property were immaculate. The space between the house and the beach allows for privacy without making you feel too far away from the ocean. We were extremely well taken care of by the lovely couple who live onsite. They cooked us amazing meals, and kept the house and property clean and orderly during our entire stay. They are helpful, but never intrusive.
I would not hesitate to recommend this rental, and we will definitely be staying here again!

A True Paradise!

They keep the property in spotless condition all while being very unobtrusive. They cooked dinner for us four out of the seven nights, which was a delicious treat and well worth the reasonable cost. Our favorite dishes were the empanadas, whole grilled fish, grilled steak and garlic butter shrimp. Thank you so much for everything and we hope to return in the future.

Great family vacation
Reviewed on 2023-07-10 by James D. , Denver, CO United StatesNormally the beach, the house, even the location would be the highlight Iliff any trip. Yes, the beach was amazing, the house was nice(beds are horribly uncomfortable) and the location was gorgeous! But out highlight was Noe and Elizabeth. Amazing caretakers. The property was in pristine condition and Elizabeth's cooking was delcicous. Often times people get over looked because it's so routine but they went above and beyond daily. Great vacation and my family would love to go back sooner then later.

Family vacation 2023
Reviewed on 2023-06-22 by Marla G. , Pearland, TX USWe were very upset about the seaweed on the beach. The odor of the seaweed was disgusting as it smelled like raw sewage. I would like to request a partial refund of our rental fee or a credit to use towards a future rental.
20th anniversary getaway
Reviewed on 2023-06-09 by Sherry N. , Atlanta, GA USOur two families had a wonderful time at Casa Palmeras. The accomodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We spent lots of time in the pool and lounging on the decks. Noe and Lis take great care of the place, and their meals are better than anything you'll get at a restaurant! The only issue with our stay was totally out of everyone's control: sargassum prevented us from snorkeling and kayaking as much as we would have liked. Still a lovely stay, and we would definitely return!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot!

Property is well maintained. Beds were comfortable, individual AC units in the rooms gave flexibility. Watch out for seaweed (which the caretakers do clean up) & wind coming into the bay depending on time of year. Location was great! Cenotes galore, Tulum, and grocery stores are not far off.
We loved it here!
The accommodations were as expected or better and suited our crew (3 grandparents, 2 couples, and 2 small kids) well! We enjoyed the sunrises, ability to walk the beachfront and sand/calm waters of the bay, which were easy to lounge in as the littles easily played. The caretaker and housekeeper are very friendly and helpful - we arranged for them to make dinners which were a delicious treat. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the only issue was a leaky water line under the sink which the caretaker arranged to have fixed the next day. Dreamiest vacation home!
Reviewed on 2023-01-17 by Alison R. , Salt Lake City, UT United StatesSince staying at this house I have sent the link to SO many people because I can’t stop raving about our trip. The house is clean and nice, the beds are comfortable. It’s such a great setup for a big family our group because it has a large dining table inside and out, and large sofas also inside and out. The pool and private beach make it so fun and easy for kids, with shady lounge spots near both of them for the parents to lounge. There are kayaks and (if you bring your own stuff - even goggles alone) there’s great snorkeling right outside your door too. The most unexpected perk of the house was the staff thought. There are housekeepers to help with dishes, cleaning, sand sweeping, etc to make it so you don’t have to worry or clean and can truly relax and enjoy your time. We had them cook dinner for us too and it was incredible. They are the sweetest couple and felt like family. It’s within a gated community so it is very safe feeling. Also, they have a concierge service who will help you with any activities you’re interested in (touring ruins, exploring Cenotes - a must!, etc.) They had great info and recommendations. We didn’t partake but they also offered to arrange in home spa services. And the house staff will do your laundry for a small fee if needed. It was. A dreamy spot and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much!

Comfy & spacious house on beautiful, calm bay 15 min. from Akumal
Reviewed on 2022-11-08 by Elizabeth R. , Evanston, IL USThe house was lovely, with large air conditioned bedrooms (and all spaces), very clean, and nicely appointed, but not too fancy you'd worry about bringing kids there. The dipping pool was lovely, and lounge chairs there and out beachside under palapas. Decent snorkeling right out front. Caretakers Noe and Elizabeth were darling, super helpful but not intrusive. Elizabeta made 2 delicious meals for us which lasted through lunch and dinner the next day. Fresh bottled water tanks in each bedroom and kitchen, which was well stocked. Also highly recommend the massages, on-site. Ask Noe and he will arrange! Sadly the beach along the bay has far more trash on it than when I was there 6 years ago. Caretakers clean up the portion in front of the house, but not great beach walking due to the trash.

The main house and grounds were kept immaculate as well as the guest house. Plenty of outdoor seating and the ocean is just steps away. Truly a slice of heaven on earth. Noa and Elizabeth were the care takers and cooked us some fabulous meals...I highly recommend the shrimp kabobs and the empanadas! Reviewed on 2021-05-27 by , Golden, CO United StatesThe real highlight of Casa Palmeras, though, are the caretakers Noe and Elizabeth. They are genuinely some of the kindest people I've ever met and kept the house in perfect shape both inside and out. Raking the beach and the grounds, cleaning the house/kitchen/bedrooms/bathrooms, and making us dinner. By the second day, they weren't the caretakers, they were truly our friends and felt like a part of our family. They are phenomenal cooks, and if you have the chance, I highly recommend the shrimp skewers and pollo pibil. And the god, the flan. Elizabeth makes the best flan I've ever had. We ate at Pandano one night (five-star restaurant down the beach) and the flan there paled in comparison.
If Casa Palmeras works for your group, I'd book it without a second thought. We will be back for sure--it was an unforgettable experience.
We had an amazing stay at Casa Palmeras. The location is truly paradise, and the villa is top-notch. Big living areas, large bedrooms, and amazing outdoor space--the house is set back from the beach just a little farther than the others, and the palm trees provide shade and privacy. The kayaks are brand new and there are PFDs at the house to help keep everyone safe. While snorkeling, we saw a ton of fish, manta rays, turtles, and beautiful reef/coral. Soliman Bay is special in that it has a protective reef around the outside, so the waves don't break on the shore here. That meant we could take our 5-year-old swimming and snorkeling with ease. The water is shallow and not 's really one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to.

The real highlight of Casa Palmeras, though, are the caretakers Noe and Elizabeth. Noe and Elizabeth are the caretakers and they are wonderful. They made us dinner everyday, kept the house clean, raked the beach and cleaned up the seaweed (which was not very bad at all during our stay). I would highly recommend using their cooking services. I would suggest waiting to order meals until you get there so you can discuss your dining needs, how much food to prepare, etc. They like 1 day notice - bring cash. If you are arriving early afternoon and are not driving yourself I would recommend asking them to prepare a lunch in advance. There are a couple restaurants but they are quite a walk form the house. Regarding groceries, we used a food stocking service - Riviera Maya Groceries. They were very accommodating but I would ask the taxi driver to stop and pick up some drinks and snacks at the gas station before you arrive since its possible your groceries won't be there until late afternoon.
We were there in mid-March 2020, the week that the Coronavirus hit so unfortunately we had to cut our stay short to get back to the states. However we can/t wait to go back again! This was the perfect place for our family vacation. We are a family of 5, with 3 kids under 11 and the 2 bedrooms on the second floor were plenty for us.
