Beautiful open floor plan with expansive ocean views, extremely well appointed kitchen and incredibly responsive service. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Stunning views from the terrace [43]One of our favorite units and definitely an Akumal classic, Penthouse at the Reef is a very special three bedroom, three bath condominium, on the third floor of The Reef. Recently remodeled, this luxury suite is stylish and chic.
The stunning hand painted mural upon entering the 3rd floor is your first clue that this is no ordinary unit. As you enter into the penthouse, you are greeted by a large picture window with an incredible view of Half Moon Bay that leads to an expansive oceanfront terrace and outdoor living area. The ideal place to entertain and enjoy this amazing vista.
The owners created an elegant and beach themed space and their care is evident throughout the condo. Delight in the modern, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and extra large breakfast bar for seating. Enjoy gourmet meals at the custom made dining table while taking in the views of the Caribbean. There is also a water filter for drinking water in the kitchen.
The Master features a king bed, Smart TV, ensuite bathroom and oceanfront terrace that can be locked off for seclusion. The oceanfront guest suite is just as beautiful with a king and a queen bed, Smart TV, ensuite bathroom and a beachfront terrace.
The jungle view guest bedroom has two custom made bunk beds each with a double and single bed and a Smart TV. It also has its own private bathroom with dual sinks and a soaking tub.
The Reef has a great central location on Half Moon Bay. Easy walk to La Buena Vida or La Lunita restaurants. With direct access to the beach and snorkeling, the Penthouse at the Reef is the best property for your upcoming vacation to Akumal
