5/5* "Perfect for our family" by Dawn B., Mar 2017, VRBO
The photos of Casa Coral don't do it justice. Our condo was the perfect size for us, with a master suite on the top floor where the pool is located. The beds were very nice and the condo was cleaned every day by the friendly staff. Veronica was very helpful and made us feel right at home. We could not have asked for a better place to stay than Casa Coral.
5/5* "Beautiful Location" by Susan L., Sep 2017, VRBO
Everything was absolutely perfect. Casa Coral #2 was absolutely perfect. The views from the huge deck with pool were absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous turquoise and brilliant blue waters. The daily maid service was wonderful; Anita and Roberta were both wonderful and made our stay so much more enjoyable. Manuel regularly kept the pool clean and helped bring up our luggage. The inside of the home/condo was very modern and updated, the beds were comfortable and we needed for nothing. We also decided to have groceries brought in before our arrival, I would recommend this to anyone. It's very nice not to have to stop on your way to pick up groceries after traveling from driving from Cancun international airport. We would certainly recommend this home/condo to anyone, and we will certainly stay here on a future visit. Lastly, everyone was wonderful, from initially renting, to the concierge. Perfect vacation from day one. Thank you all.
5/5* "Beautiful!!" by Linda from Chevy Chase, Maryland, Jan 2017, VRBO
Great location for quiet retreat, yet less than a mile walk along the beach to the activity in Akumal. Ideal home base for exploring Yak-Kul lagoon, Tulum, Coba, restaurants on Half Moon Bay. Perfect vacation!!
5/5* "Beautiful ocean and beach just feet from the stairs!" by Corrine L, Jan 2017, VRBO
This upper floor home has a spectacular upper patio with views of Jade Bay. We snorkeled and kayaked in front of the house, the surf is rough but safe. It is less than a mile up the beach to Akumal, with restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. Our favorite restaurant was Turtle Cafe and Bakery in Akumal, they have great ice cream and the best seafood fettuccine I have ever had. We also walked to Yul Ka lagoon, which was about 3 miles away. If you are not walking and exploring type of people, the sunrises, beach, night sky and pool will keep you more than happy right at the home. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. Good wifi available... we were able to stream Netflix in the evenings without difficulty. There is bottled water brought fresh daily, a nice fruit basket, coffee and filters and milk in the fridge. There are two toaster ovens, but no microwave. The beds are hard but comfortable. The maids came daily, the house was always clean upon our return, with fresh linens, towels and beach towels. Miguel keeps the pool immaculate and the beach is raked and free of seaweed daily. There is satellite TV, a great sound system and TVs in two bedrooms and the living area. The ONLY issue we had was the upstairs air conditioner did not work well. The coldest we ever got it was 85 degrees. I would definitely return.
5/5* "Wonderful family vacation for NYE 2016" by Fogman from Virgina Beach, Dec 2016, TripAdvisor
We had never been to Akumal, but stumbled on it while looking for places near or in Tulum. What a lucky break! This condo is very nicely furnished, and just a few steps from a beautiful beach. It is a short lovely walk down the beach to the town of Akumal where you can snorkel with sea turtles and some pretty reefs.
Lots of good places to eat within walking distance in Akumal or a short drive. Don't miss the beached bikini bar, a 5-minute drive away. Great drinks and delicious ceviche. We went here twice in one week.
Full kitchen though we tended to just have breakfast in the room.
I would go back here in a flash.
5/5* "Unexpectedly Luxurious" by Christa W., Jan 2016, VRBO
I took a long time to find a place to stay in Akumal close enough to town, but far away enough for some privacy and knew the place would be nice. We were not prepared for what we walked into. The condo is absolutely stunning with marble throughout, high-end kitchen/appliances, breathtaking views of the beach, ocean and stars. The beds were extremely comfortable (as divers, this is very important to us) so every night was a good night's sleep. AC worked a little too good at times. The house and groundskeepers do a fantastic job keeping the place immaculate, and the owners are thoughtful enough to make sure you have fresh fruit, milk, coffee and some refreshments in your fridge upon your arrival so you aren't scrambling to go shopping when you arrive. The owners were also very quick to respond when we had questions. Like, "how long does it take to walk via the beach into Akumal?". Within a couple hours they replied "15 minutes or so". And they weren't exaggerating. We could literally be in Akumal by walking the beach in 15 minutes - or less - to go diving at Akumal Dive Shop, grab a snack at Taverna, Turtle Bay or Lol Ha, or pick up some more wine at one of the little grocery shops in town.
Our stay couldn't have been better. We already told our friends and will definitely be staying in Casa Coral again.
