Another majestic cenote - El Gran is located 20 min from Tulum (on the road to Coba). Open daily from 9.00 AM till 5.00 PM with 150 pesos entry, kids free of charge.
This cenote is very popular because it's perfect for the whole family! You can enjoy diving or snorkeling with lots of beautiful fish and turtles or just enjoy in it's beautiful jungle surroundings.
There are wooden stairs (and a deck) so the entry to the water is easy. You can also swim through the cave to another cenote pool on the right. On top of the cave you'll even get to see some bats.
